Define the milestone chain before movement
Not every service includes every milestone. Name the start and end of SOLINK's agreed responsibility and identify which events come from a carrier, warehouse, broker, delivery provider or customer.

Label the status correctly
An estimated schedule should remain an estimate. A booking request is not carrier acceptance, an arrival is not customs release, and release is not final delivery.
- Planned: an intended date or step that has not yet occurred
- Confirmed: a dated event supported by the relevant source
- Pending: waiting for information, acceptance or action
- Exception: the planned sequence has changed or may change
- Completed: the agreed milestone evidence has been received
Use an exception update that leads to action
When something changes, state what happened, when it was learned, which shipment objective may be affected, what is known and unknown, the available next action and when the next review will occur. Avoid unsupported certainty while the relevant party is still confirming the facts.

Close the movement with a usable record
After the agreed final milestone, reconcile delivery evidence, unresolved charges or discrepancies and any difference between the planned and actual sequence. A de-identified outcome can improve later planning only when the business has permission to use it and the source and scope remain clear.
